That's exactly we decided to choose liberal democracy. We are trying to mobilize the people to construct a government based on liberal democratic political and economic policies in our nation in order to bring about the significant change in the economic, social, and political elements that the Sri Lankan society has recently demanded.
We in the Liberal Democratic Party stand for bringing individuals and groups of people together who respect the liberal concepts of freedom, privacy, rule of law, transparency, accountability, peace, securing human rights, equal opportunities and leading the country in a new direction.
